Vivek and Jessey's Wedding

Jessey and Vivek's wedding was the forth wedding I shot, it was over 4 days concluding at Blenheim Palace the birth place of Sir Winston Churchill.

We started at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens for the British civil ceremony on a Wednesday.

Jessey is Sikh and Vivek is Hindu, so there were to be two wedding ceremonies on the Saturday.

After the British civil ceremony on the Wednesday  it was back to Jessey's house for a party and loads and loads of fantastic food and entertainment.

Thursday was a day off as it was a very late night Wednesday.

On Friday back off to Jessey's house in Bromsgrove, for the Sikh Mehndi and Chooda and another party at night.

Saturday was a very early start as we had to be ready for the grooms arrival at 7am.

Vivek the groom arrived by horse to the Vara Yatra ceremony site, ready for the Sikh Anand Karaj (wedding ceremony) and Hindu Wedding, later that morning and early afternoon for the Mandap and the offering Homam and the remaining rituals of the wedding. On the Sunday the reception was held at Blenheim Palace which also included the Doli.
